Thank you for your interest in Al's editorial services. Al is delighted to provide you editorial assistance between Mondays and Fridays. (She frees up Saturdays and Sundays for family, worship, and rest.)
A naturally cordial person that she is, Al, however, dislikes and avoids chats, phone calls, FB, LinkedIn, Skype, SMS, Twitter, and similar media. Is she antisocial? No, she's not. But she's a firm believer of giving the contact information she actually uses.
(Do you experience calling a company that doesn't seem to answer the phone? And when your call gets answered, you're instructed by an automated message to press keys to get to talk to a live person, but then, after a long wait, the voice says, "Sorry, all agents are busy right now, please try your call later.")

Assessment of the editorial work involved
Al usually asks for a copy of the manuscript, which you may send her when she responds to your message. She initially inquires about the subject matter, type, format, and word count, among other aspects of your manuscript or written content. So you may discuss these details briefly when you write to her. Inform her as well if this is the first time you'll be working with a freelance editor so she may orient you of the editorial process.
Before the work commences, Al requests for a 50% deposit via PayPal.
